10 plagues, 10 songs. One song for each plague. The songs are VERY different, so try exploring the CD to find something you like.
FCC on 1. Picks: 9,1,5,8.
Hip Hop - 1
Dreamy, quiet, sounds - 2,4,7,10
Electro/Dance - 3,8
Weird - 9,5
Bad? - 6
*1-3:44) Nice, menacing, english hip-hop. safe harbor only. FCC "fuck" & "shit". Fadeout.
2-4:59) Dreamy indie-pop guitar strum, and high male vox. Drums and choir enter to help build. Repetitive feel, "relate the tale". Quiet end. Adrian's show?
3-3:02) Midtempo, very 80s "even though I'm at the dance I'm crying inside" dance feel. Fadeout.
4-5:47) Slow. Eno makes sounds of buzzing and hymnal synth chords. Gentle but depressed voice slowly singing.
5-3:24) Very quiet. Organ backing whisper/singing voice. Mysterious feel. Chromatic, interesting movement. Kinda strange.
6-2:41) I like the brass band intro, but that's it. Bluesy and jam bandy. Trouble describing this. fadeout.
7-5:49) Theremin, gentle piano and double bass. Cabaret singing almost.
8-3:36) Electronica-pop. Slightly glitchy. Very airy. Very poppy. Music for power-dentists or Tatu.
***9-3:44) Standout track. Weird. Call and response with chorus. Ends sudden.
10-4:16) Lazy, bluesy, strummed guitar. Quiet gospel piano, drums enter. Imagine a Leon Redbone song but sung by Rufus Wainwright.
