Gypsy goth. Synths made to sound like organ, rhythm guitar, somewhat distorted vocals (mostly male), ukulele? 5-piece band from San Diego. +1.Big circus organ in minor key, then it’s a pop song, then it’s circus-goth again. Fun and confident. 2.Cheezy Kurt Weill-ish boppy music. 3.3/4 time intro but 4/4 time song, fem vocals. Dramatic. 4.The singer/songwriter song, made to sound like recorded thru telephone 5.Formulaic feel-good pop (actually would be good in a set of 80’s synthpop) +6.Fun gypsy-goth, scat singing 7.Goth anthem. (Subtly ripping off DCD “Circumradiant Dawn”?) +8.Quieter, pretty good sound, like the feeling-down feel of it. +9.classic rock done their style? Cognative dissonance! +10.Weird, alternates beach-boysie & oompa can-can happy. | ||
