Philly street punk/Oi band doing 6 songs dedicated to their hometown hockey team – the Philadelphia Flyers. The songs are all anthemic & rockin’. This is dedicate to the REAL spirit of the NHL before it got expansion teams & relocations (hockey in Phoenix and Nashville? Ugh!). The Flyers “Broad St. Bullies” rep works perfectly for a band like this. What would the Boston Bruin-loving Slapshot think? Whether you like hockey or not- this is filled with “get up & go” feeling punk.

((((1))))) Simple, drunkened street punk anthem with accordian (?) about Flyer fandom.
(((2))) Simple and direct and lots of fun.
((((3)))) Roustabout punk/Oi! Never been to Philly from what I’ve read about their sports fans “cheap beer, cheap seats, missing teeth” doesn’t seem far from the truth.
((((4)))) Big, dirty arena rock that just somehow works.
(((((5)))))) Really nice ska/punk with the usual shouted chorus.
((((6))))) If the NHL had any clue they’d use this in their promos on whatever network their games are on. (Home Shopping Network? USA?)
