After being dredged up through a severe underground fan-base (especially in Japan), Nikki resurrects herself with this new release, drinking from the same bottle she did back when Jimmy Carter was in office. At a time when the Runaways were trying to be tough and The Go Go’s sold out to the color pink, Nikki and the Corvettes were just being themselves, plundering the fun of 60’s girl group rock, teenage love with a dose of Motor City punk, foreshadowing all things to come in the form of The Muffs, 5,6,7,8s, Donnas, Bobbyteens, Spastics, and just about every girl garage band to ever use a Hello Kitty sticker as a coaster for their PBR.
