Ancient Bitch

Bay Area black/death metal with some fairly epic qualities. Features members of Hadan, Weakling, Black Queen. Rather good and well-layered sound and great, “natural” production.

((((2)))) Slow, sludgy death/doom like Ghoul mixed with Winter?
(((((3))))) Awesome riffs and the ever-present (and always cool) cymbal crash. Early 90s death metal sound with some nice solos.
(((4))) Real HEAVY & dense DM with so-so vocals but damn those riffs and that drumming.
((((5)))) Introspective, multi-vocal black/death with lots of interesting riffs and changes in emphasis.
((((6)))) (FCC “fucking”) Huge epic mixing trad heavy metal, thrash and death metal
