Album Review

Washes of keyboard/synth with dancing acoustic piano. You could probably call it ambient, but I can't help thinking Windham Hill and New Age. It doesn't help that so many tracks start with an oh-so-serious Chord Of Atmosphere.

Track 3 starts off with some cello sawing for a deep, ominous drone that gets spoiled by sugary synth tones later. There's also an acoustic guitar on some tracks, although that just strenghtens the New Age case.

I suppose it's good meditative, pensive stuff for lighting candles to, but it's boring me to tears.
