“Oh Armando, when you take me in your arms and you put on this CD, all I want to do is melt.” Great collection of music showcasing tango in all its moods. From gritty backstreets to the most elegant of ballrooms, to the modern dancefloor. I like it all, especially:

1. Gravelly spoken-word narration against a dark sound.
2. Solid traditional tango instrumental.
3. Great male “lived-in” voice, midtempo, cool perc, a bit jazzy.
4. Warm female voice, good strings, midtempo.
6. Old recording gives way to urban tango electronica.
8. Downtempo deconstructed tango w/hot harmonica. Very cool.
10. Spoken word intro, guitars, dramatic, dark, emotional.
11. Lush, jazzy piano in a sophisticated solo journey.
12. Mid-tempo gypsy jazz/flamenco w/a theatrical retro cool.
15. Down/mid w/sexy fem vox, a bossa nova feel, and great sound.
