Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2007-05-13
Noise rock. Female vocals in most of it, lots of distorted everything, electronics, disjunct beats, bizarre treatments. Some great acid improv in places too. Really great stuff, for fans of Sonic Youth, KK Rampage, Chrome.

1) angular, sample/hold synth feel, fuzzy female vocs
2) urgent driving beat, low growling synth, gets pretty pounding midway, cacophony, ends with a noisy drone, great!
3) screamo noise bash out
4)bizarre quirky electronics, noise guitar straight into the board, weird male vocs in spanish, sounds early 80’s experimental, about midway it all distorts and bends and self-destructs
5) messed up convoluted noisy electronics, like a broken cd player
6) more bizarre disjunct stuff: theres a “song” in this one but its buried beneath a ton of noise and pounding
7) drony noise intro, then echoey spacey acid jam last for a couple minutes and it quickly shifts into some harsh noise in the right channel and guitar, then it kicks into a really strange loopy rockin thing, then whiffs of sonic youth/glen branca
