The singer for and co-founder of Radio Tarifa strikes out on his own with this yummy collection of flamenco-inspired tunes. With strong doses of North Africa and Spain’s Moorish roots. Great vocals and a cool collection of instruments. Really, really good.

*1. Mid/up Arabic-Flamenco mix w/cool blend of instruments.
2. Mostly mid w/female backing vox & cool perc/droning horn.
3. Upbeat, driving w/a contemporary rock sound mixed w/N. Africa.
*4. Catchy, mid/upbeat Cuban-flavored rumba.
*5. Acoustic guitar/vox intro. Growly, mid/upbeat cool vox/palmas.
6. Mostly mid blend of cont & trad instruments in a catchy melody.
*7. Mid w/great N. African perc, cool strings, heartfelt vocals. Yum.
8. Fast/mid street flamenco – guitar/palmas/vox/feet.
9. Slow, café-inspired waltz w/piano/accordion. Then spoken poem.
10. Upbeat electronica/rap. Kinda cool.
11. Slow guitar/tabla backing melancholy vocals. Sigh…
