Typically varied Global Rhythm compilation. Music from all over the map – both literally and musically. Good stuff. From Global Rhythm magazine. *1. Slow, beautiful fado w/soaring fem vox. Live recording. 2. Midtempo African folk w/delicious fem vox, guitar. 3. Modern Gypsy violin-driven folk starts slow, picks up. *4. Upbeat, bouncy African kora backing male vox. Nice! 5. Fast percussion jam instrumental w/some great rhythms. *6. Hip Latin funk w/a catchy grove. In English. *7. Wiggly-good salsa w/a jazzy hook. Yummy. 8. Slack-key guitar & other strings blend in a folksy global tango. 9. Midtempo Celtic-influenced folk w/fem vox. 10. Downtempo swampy/jazzy guitar-driven instrumental. 11.
