Easygoing, acoustic-minded indie rock with a touch of country twang and plenty of rootsy/folky elements. Female vocals with a tart sound and occasional nice harmonies. Trumpet adds a Burt Bacharach touch. Really nice, thoughtful stuff, in a package that's neither too spare nor overblown.

- Mid/fast minor key
- Country swaying, midtempo, mellow. Nice trumpet.
- Mid/fast gloominess
- Another nice country sway, mid/fast comfort & sadness
- Ooh, '50s drag-racing sound, but slowish, dramatic.
- Folky 3/4 time; nice chord changes for the chorus(?)
- Pretty, a tad jazzy. Trumpet and elec.piano are a nice touch
- Folky modern pop feel. Overdubbed trumpet, nice.
- Folky minor-key two-beat rhythm, nice harmonies. A bit sinister.
- Very country, a rolling bouncing mid/fast
- Voice and guitar: Spare but fast-moving song about a failing farm
- Mid/fast but gentle, a bit quiet
