Swedish kings of death metal (and death n' roll) doing what comes natural and best – punishing riffs, ripping vocals and lots of kick ass songs. Lots of fun and totally headbangin’ kinda album. (((((1))))) Killer, fun & fast ode to “Iron Fist” by Motorhead with death metal vocals (though pretty understandable) . ((((((2)))))) Awesome! Thrashin’ & rockin’ D.M. with total metal geek lyrics. To reference all the names checked it would take several paragraphs. ((((3))) Quiet, dark ambient. Eventually building to a percussive-laden groove track. ((((4)))) Galloping, catchy and a classic & quintessentially Entombed styled breakdown. ((((5)))) Some movie sample with a preacher & sheep. Thick riff, shifting from mid-paced groove to an odd-metered speedy parts. (((6))) Doomy riffs, dragged down by a spotty chorus. (((7))) Big riff with bashing drums. Pretty nice mix of really heavy with stop/start bits. So-so chorus. ((((((8)))) (FCC “shit”, “fuck” “sung twice, “fucking” sung once) Rockin’, often blasting death metal with a big, catchy chorus. (((((9))))) Punk-ish, gnarly riff and vocals. Like Celtic Frost crossed with Wolfbrigade. ((10)) Acoustic guitar, some totally distant and sometimes distorted vocals. Weird. | ||
