Recorded in the 1950s featuring accordion, guitars, drums, bass and tight 3-part vocal harmonies (a few instrumentals). The accordion is extra good. Lots of Tejano polkas and rancheras, classic stuff that’s all worth a play. Read the informative notes for more info. 1. A relaxed, midtempo sway w/good accordion. *2. Bright & fun upbeat bolero w/kitchy-good maracas. 3. Everybody polka! A total toe-tapper. Bright & catchy. *4. Mid/downtempo w/good vocals & warm arrangement. *5. Another toe-tapper, this time w/really good vocals. 6. Relaxed dance w/impressively overwrought vocals. 7. Bouncy accordion/strings with solid vocals. *8. Warm and swaying folk dance, nicely done. *9. Upbeat w/a fun, tripping sort of melody. 10. Lazy ranchera w/maracas and warm, old-fashioned feel. 11. It’s the Fidel Castro Polka! Yee haw!
