Classic American Death Metal playing straight up (you guessed it) death metal. Nothing too fancy here - just riffs, guttural (but audible) vocals and low tuned guitars. Good stuff overall. (((((1))))) Killer, fast & pummeling USDM (((((2)))))) Fast, almost hardcore speed crossed with the “death tone” of Celtic Frost and classic 80’s solos. ((((3)))) Thick, solid, mid-paced with a nice groove. ((((4)))) More groove and metal swagger, good breakdowns, too. (((5))) Slow, plodding but not too bad, just not all there. ((((6)))) More fast n’ razor sharp harcore-influenced DM. ((((7)))) Great riff. ”Typical” of Obituary to pour on the crushing doom riffage with the wailing solos. (((8))) Slow, death/doom, nothing too interesting minus the ode to “Children of the Grave” ((9)) Sluggish, boring slow & repetitive DM. ((((((10))))) KILLER, rippin’ kinda speedy DM with more Celtic Frost worshipping riffs. (((11))) Decent but not quite on the mark death/doom | ||
