Percee Northrupp Reviewed 2007-12-10 | ||
Demented vocal improv alongside back alley free jazz. With respect to timbre, the vocals are kind of cross between Mike Patton and Tom Waits. Few lyrics are detected, mostly drunken, delirious and physically sick outpourings. The band consists of drums, sax, elec. guitar, bass, and back alley percussion. Tracks are very similar. FCC on 2? 1-5:18) Slow, amorphous, electric free jazz. Creepy. Is that a death rattle, or did he orgasm? 2-5:15) A little fuller and louder. FCC "fuck"? 3-6:28) Lots of noodling. Sort have words. 4-5:38) Drums are active on this one. 5-6:35) "The World Becomes Me". Tom Waits after food poisoning at Taco Bravo. 6-4:41) Faster. Active drumming. 7-7:04) Got a sax "Windin". Fairly intelligible. Trash can percussion. 8-7:50) Driftier and whinier |
