Final Sign Of Evil, The

German metal ultra-thrashers going back and re-recording some classics & demo track from 1984. Normally, these things a often half-assed. (I’m looking at you Twisted Sister & Anthrax). Although, Sodom’s ideas work extremely well. Rudimentary speed metal stepping into primodial forms of Black and Death Metal. This is 80’s Teutonic speed metal equipped the original Angelripper/Violator/Witchhunter line up & now-classic botched “Engrish” lyrics. Crank up some “Witching Metal” bruthurs and sistahs!

((((((2)))))) Black/thrash attack, bang head & drink beer and repeat 100 times. (“Blleeecchkkk metoooll izt der game aye play!”)
(((3))) Decent mid-paced primal death metal
((((((4))))) Arrrrrggh! Taking a little of Bay Area thrash and kicking it in the ass. Albeit this is slower than the original but still good.
((((5)))) Incredible riff, swaggery, pretty heavy & always ugly.
(((((((6))))))) Crust-punk like hyper-thrash. No one other than Bathory (and maybe Slayer) went this fast in Metal in 1984.
(((((7)))) Miltary drums into rudimentary, punkish thrash.
(((((((8)))))) Total 80’s and “not ready for Hit Parader” playing thrash. Annhillating as fuck!
((((9)))) Big ‘’ol riffs and good build up, guttural vox with some very 80’s breakdowns.
(((10))) Nice groove into a good slow-ish to speed pace. Nothing terribly special but some rad vocal parts.
((((((11)))))) Apocalyptic intro with a crust/thrash knockout. Runs about half the speed of the original but still really rad. “Owwwwttt break of evilllll!”
(((12))) Odd-metered riff at times other times a straight gallop and a few leanings towards “gang” vox. Not bad but gets better when they starting a thrashin’
