War Against..., The

Experimental collages, pieces composed from fragments of improvisations. Nothing harsh or brutal, mostly echoey samples, arranged, chill, cerebral. Incorporates organic instruments: drum, strings, guitar, bells and other percussion in addition to samplings of voice, sound sources. A couple tracks have “song-like” rhythms, structure.

1) strings, sparse drum, a brief notion or afterthought
2) chill, creepy tone with drums, sampled buried melodies and a low drone
3) looped samples, echoey, bursts of tones
4) brief, slightly melodic tone and rhythm
5) spooky low tones, echoey
6) doomy slow plod rhythm with clunky percussion for 1st ~90sec, then treated voice and more creepiness, goes through chill parts, drony ones, disparate
7) chill droney looped tone with passages of manipulated voice
8) chill, bells, quiet strings, voice, collage-like grows louder toward end
9) bells, quiet
10) brief, some things put together
11) brief, mild melody in samples, voice
12) electro rhythm, chill midpaced with swirling electronics and tones
13) quiet fade-in, slow to build drone with spooky feel, percussion
