Mildly spooky trancelike music derived from Norse folksongs, adding a touch of psych and a haunting, tense sense of melody. Calm, dark layers: with guitars, drums... and ancillary sounds (percussion, rustles, scratches) for a slightly experimental feel (Bjork, sedated). Effortless tenor vocal somewhere between singing and chanting. Mostly acoustic, residing between folk and experimental rock.

Strange sounds: 4,5,7. Brighter, even happy: 2,6, sorta 8

- Bright but creepy guitar figure, cool calm guitar jam later
- Brightly folky, w/chiming sound. Happy, not so dark. The hit single?
- Gentle chime and stiff beat; dirgelike but relatively fast
- A capella with water sounds and a foreboding accordion(?) tone. Odd clanking and scratching. Dry.
- Ominous, with galloping percussion and weird scratchy sounds. Feels spookier when the rhythm loosens up.
- Pleasant folk tune made ominous. Nicely pulsing beat. Unrhythmic clatter at the start.
- Cavernous soft gong, into a dark low-key track
- Steady and maybe less dark than other tracks
