HNIA is a creative band experimenting in electro, folk, blues, r&b, pop, indie and now Free Music. This CD honors Marion Brown, saxophonist, composer and innovator of Free Music, half the members of HNIA are members of the Afro Funk band NOMO and includes members of ANTIBALAS.
1: 6:57 Buddahist percussion intro, slow, mellow e-piano+bass noodling
2: 8:02 slow almost ambient drone, nice bass work/noodling, nice sax.
****3: 13:32 slow & low , squawking sax, very nice percussion great e-guitar, . . trumpet, Live
4: 4: 34 e-piano noodling intro, slow.
****5: 4:46 sax noodling + e-guitar chaos, can go right into #6
****6: 9:07 low intro, bass+ percussion+ trumpet + e-guitar mid tempo, drum kit e-guitar groove.
****7: 6:11 very nice bass work, slow to mid e-piano keyboard noodling
8: 7: 22 low brass intro., then almost drone background with louder brass
