Beautiful classical Indian music by Chaurasia on bansuri (bamboo flute) joined by tabla, guitar, santoor (dulcimer). This 2-disc set is both deep and easily accessible to those unfamiliar with this style of music. Rooted in tradition, but with a truly modern sense of style. Good stuff.

CD1:
*1. Sweet, lyrical and relaxed w/a warm, sunny quality.
*2. Almost a jazz intro, midtempo w/great melody.
3. Starts slow, gets mid. W/shifting moods & waves of feeling.
4. Flute/santoor/table, slow/mid w/a warm, lazily joyous sense.
*5. Slow/mid, gorgeous flute. Zakir Hussain on tabla. Sweeping.
CD2:
*1. Starts slow, dramatic. Picks up w/tripping flute & tabla.
2. Slow flute, tabla/zither join in. Spare and elegant.
3. Sweeping and dramatic. Down/midtempo w/an insistent quality.
4. Slow, kinda mysterious. Then the tabla picks things up. Lyrical.
*5. Two flutes at counterpoint w/midtempo tabla. Really beautiful.
