New Centuries, The – The New Centuries Reviewed by Witz

Steady indie rock. San Francisco’s own The New Centuries give us a simple, catchy, enjoyable five track EP of your basic indie rock. Some hints of British rock infuse the steady, emotionally laden vocals. Think Bloc Party, Talking Heads, Interpol, et al.
FCC CLEAN

*1) Heavy on the synth bass line, catchy chorus with a country edge. (2:53)
*2) Nice intro leads to driving rhythm. Catchy. (4:13)
3) Darker, more depressed dance rock vibe. (3:49)
4) Clean guitar, catchy background synth, and dark, engaging vocals. (3:52)
5) Emotional, urgent, Interpol like rock—hypnotic. (3:36)
