Odd and interesting Canadian 4-piece mixing space & kraut rock, hard rock jams and the occasional bits of ethnic percussion & prog. Features Michel “Away” Langevin of metal legends VoiVod and members of bands like Paradise, Tricky Woo, and Grim Skunk (?). Really fun and wild stuff. Goes great with Titan, Earthless, Hawkwind & those Krautrock reissues.
((((1)))) Big sound with a few nods to Hawkwind, King Crimson and Camel. Awesome!
((((2)))) Laid back & groovy, 80’s videogame soundtrack. Gets hypnotic after the first few minutes.
((((3)))) 70’s organ sound over some steady & rockin’ guitar & bass.
(((4))) Random, short bits of spacey electronics.
((((5)))) Huh? An Indian raga/drone thingy, the usual flute/sitar thing, pretty cool & chill.
(((((6))))) Another headscratcher. New wavey, post-punky yet kinda space rock? Lots of punk references: CB’s, James Chance, Teenage Jesus)
((7))) Slow moving percussive, minimal interlude.
((((8)))) Bassy & heavy drums then a flash of “motorik” styled krautrock (i.e. Neu, Harmonia). Really driving
((((((9)))))) Whoooaaa! Super spacey, electro-pulse. Best soundtrack never used by John Carpenter, George Romero or Dario Argento.
((((10)))) 70’s hard rock “en Françias”. Rad in any language. Loose & wild near the end.
(((11))) Mellow, clicky tabla-ish percussion with random bits of “space groove” surrounding it.
((((12)))) Jammy, very 70’s bombastic rock instrumental. Kinda like the better side of E.L.P.
