Norwegian death metal with Tchort of Emperor and Carpathian Forest on guitar. Generally consistent and pretty fierce in most cases. Stays in the middle ground between being riffy and heavy without the “brutal for the sake of brutal” or “melodic for the sake of…marketing”? Pretty thick and dense vocals which are hit and miss (a minor point) on an otherwise good and durable DM album.

(((1))) Fast, roughshot death metal.
(((((2))))) Bassy, thick builds into a really fast tempo after 1:39. Kick ass!
((((3)))) Thick & riffy, and more killer bass & speedy as hell in places. Works from 1st vs. 2nd guitar duels. Sounds like early Entombed crossed with Deicide.
((((4)))) Really pummeling and thrashy DM with some really good bass/guitar interplay.
((((5)))) Lots of modern riffing and a lot of varied tempos and structure. Even more use of that hammering bass/guitar work. Pretty interesting.
(((6))) Good use of a modern and early 90’s death metal sound though it kinda drags after awhile.
(((7))) Fast & sort of technical but just sort of “there”.
((((8)))) Gorguts cover song. Not familiar with the orginal but pretty obvious early 90’s DM vibe with the technical vs. brutal vs. structured bits all in the mix.
(((((9))))) Great intro into rippin’ low-end, pretty fast & heavy DM with TONS of killer riffs! (Check it after 2:00)
