Solid doom/death metal from Bergen, Norway. Reminicent of old My Dying Bride, Candlemass and early Amorphis. (Suprisingly, they’ve been around almost as long as MDB). Rather strong riffing, above par vocals and some nice soloing. However, the occasional female backing vocals are too saccharine in some places. Otherwise, a pretty killer doom album for winter (or any season for that matter).

((((1)))) Big, thick death/doom with some traditional metal moves. Really classy stuff.
(((2))) Odd modern riffs, moves into a nice slow winding, heavy number with repetitive but catchy riffs & wailing guitars all over. The poppy female vox aren’t too good, tho’.
(((((3))))) This just says “DOOM!” in virtually every moment. Gets into faster/trad. metal territory near the end but well worth all 13+ minutes.
(((((4)))) Slow and creeping with a strong blend of vocals and riffs. Pretty huge My Dying Bride influence here.
(((((5)))) Excellent, simple & classic riffs/solos. Bridges the early 90’s doom-death with the 80’s vibe of Candlemass.
((((6)))) Explosive opening riff, consistently doomy with some classic metal flourishes.
((((7)))) Huge low end, descending into early MBD worship with tons of resonating riffs and words like “flowerrrr” and “teaarrrrs”.
(((((8))))) Rhythmic riffage and some good drumming and vocals. Even the clean female vox aren’t too cringe-inducing.
