Sax/bass/drums trio. Accessible composing backed by some energetic, creative soloing. A mostly straight sound that flashes occasional modern compositional tricks and some energetic soloing; doesn't go too far afield, although the sax gets a TINY bit avant-garde squeaky in spots (4,5,9). Really nice stuff.

- Straight swingy feel.
- Friendly midtempo.
- Mid/fast patter, nicely soaring sax solo.
- Mid/fast, complex, a bit cerebral. Solo sax intro w/ interesting sounds.
- Low mystic flute, ooo. Then, smoky jazz w/late-night cool.
- Fairly fast, a catchy bass beat, gets strong and propulsive
- Feathery dark feel, into something more active and boplike. Cool bass/drums trading-solos.
- Slow, moody theme w/Asian overtones.
- Happy striding, calmly mid/fast. Sax solo gets a bit squealy, against nicely tumbling drums.
- Upbeat and snappy
