Banjos! Get your banjos here! First of all, you have to read the notes for a fascinating history of the rise & fall of the banjo as an African and African-American instrument. Great musicians, a variety of styles, all on 5-string banjos. Excellent! Play it all!

1. Toe-tapping folk blues. Upbeat & way cool. You must play!
2. Relaxed, midtempo blues funk with a dirty gravy sound.
3. Mid/upbeat, dark w/a wicked electric bass and a country rock feel.
4. Cornet, Keb’ Mo’ vocals. Midtempo & relaxed blues rock.
5. Lazy front porch blues, a classic.
6. Mid/upbeat country twang with great tripping strings/cool vox.
7. Down & dirty folk rock w/harp, vox, elec. Guitar. So cool.
8. A bluegrass classic. Upbeat Applachian scratch. Yow!
9. Midtempo mourn with a touch of funk. Like ants on your skin.
10. Sweet, playful, lazy Creole tune. Sleepy fun.
11. Uptempo banjo, perc, vox. A blend of new & old-timey goodness.
12. Slow and gritty in the hot, sweaty South. Damn!
13. Uptempo electric banjo, jamming. About the middle passage.
14. Slow guitar, banjo, vox. Folk rock w/hint of gospel.
