Gothy experimental from Denver, like only the environs of Focus on the Family and the Columbine shooters can produce. From the “creepy” “spooky” school of Boyd Rice, Psychic TV, Beelzebub Youth, Anton Lavay. Creepy electronic and sampled minimal soundbeds with spoken word poem/lyrics, all with spooky sadistic masochistic, witchcraft/religious “dark” themes. Lots of “death” and “eating flesh” silliness, er, serious stuff. “Guest” appearances include Boyd Rice himself. Good music to perform a human sacrifice to.
1) quiet synth, eerie spoken word, soundbed shimmers and builds quite nicely with subtle loops
2) rhythmic, spoken male about John Barleycorn, with “demonic” background vocs
3) brief ambient interlude
4) FCCs FCCs FCCs!!!!
5) slow looping soundbed, “king of the world”, prayer-like
6) cool hard-panned synths, dark, no “lyrics”
7) speak of the devil, Boyd Rice recites essay on S&M etc
8) cool dark electronics with swirling tones/voices
9) dark chill drone-bed, poem is like hypnotism/meditation for Timothy McVeigh or something
10) FCC- one quick “shit” poem, hostile toward dumb religious fundies- at ~1:25 remaining “a world of shit”, edit that and you’ve got a winner
11) guitar sustain/feedback, echo’ed voice
12) nice instrumental, looping tones with repeating simple drum beat
13) a run-down on the Columbine victims over a sick soundbed, pushing the limits of “taste”
14) industrial goth feel, rhythmic and spooky, sample-rich, poetry comes in late
