Oh those wacky French! This collection of instrumental folk dances as a quirky, decidedly old world flavor. Hurdy-gurdy, accordion, clarinet and fifes (oh, the fifes!). Sweet natured and warm in a “happy peasants on market day festival” kind of sound. Oh yeah, they dance on stilts. Check out: 1. Relaxed midtempo oom-pah-esque polka. 3. A bit of a hitch in the melody then a sweet round dance. 5. Happy midtempo song about Little Red Riding Hod. 6. A squeaky, happy, bright midtempo sound. 7. Warm, midtempo polka. 9. Relaxed accordion/hurdy-gurdy mix rather elegant, in a way. 10. Lively, warm stilt dance. Can’t even picture it. 11. Slightly upbeat w/a joyful air. 14. A toe-tapping midtempo round dance. 15. Fun and cheerful, upbeat and light. 17. Bright traditional folk polka w/nicely squeaky bits. 18. Relaxed & halting, bright, a warm & welcoming sound. |
