Consume by The Spectacular Fantastic

Short 5 track disc of indie pop, clocking in at a total of 12 minutes. Vocals are tinged with echo/delay. Mike Detmer's vocals are high and despite being pushed to strain, feel like they were sung with ease, as if he's comfortable in that register.

_1_: falsettos on a pop/rock guitar bed.
*2: high energy pop. The Killers meets Sloan
3: simple lyrics, multiple guitars, and drums.
4: short, simple number with repetitive chording and plodding lyrics. guitar/drums until vocals start at +0:27/-1:32
5: feels like an early/mid-career STP song, mostly from vocals. half way through the guitar ends up in left channel, bass in right channel. more of a basic, darker rocker than the rest of the disc.

RIYL: Killers, Sloan, maybe Kings of Leon
FCC: All clean
REC: _1_, 2
Personal observation: the vocal delay/echo used to beef up the vocals gets boring after a while. I would love to see this band with a backup singer or co-vocalist.
