A Mad & Faithful Telling

Fusion of indie rock with East European folk and Mariachi. Strings, horns, and oom-pah or 3-3-2 drumming provide the primary back up for Nick Urata's sluggish, mournfully nasal vox. Auxiliary instrumentation includes more exotic elements such as bazouki and theremin. Doesn't stray far from their past albums; in fact, it seems more restrained and content to stay within the confines of its fully orchestrated world fusion sound. Probably could be described as "Mature."
