LOCAL female-fronted dark indie rock band. Pretty straight forward rock, mostly, with altnera-dark twinges to it. Female vocals remind me at times of Sleater-Kinney, but this lacks the S-K attitude and swagger. This album's okay; not something I'll listen to a lot.

My picks: 3, 5 FCC: 2
mid tempo. dark. angular, repeated guitar licks, f vox. quiet last 0:30 (fade out early?).
FCC. mid tempo. straight forward rock guitars--louder beginning but pulls back before vocals. shouty vocals (with harmonies) near the end.
mid tempo. a little more upbeat than some of the others. reminds me a little of Built to Spill.
acoustic guitar intro. other instruments enter later.
sustained intro before going into a straight forward rock song with f+m vox.
slow. plodding drums. bass+some guitars and vocals. goes into a mid tempo 6/8 about halfway through, then a mid tempo 4/4.
med-slow. just guitar + vox. nice strings later on.
mid tempo. straight forward song with slightly off-kilter drums.
med-fast. riffing guitars, alternates between fuller and more subdued sections.
med-slow. swimming waltz-time tune.
mid tempo. sort of a military-march drum beat with strutting guitars, alternating with more subdued parts.
