Sweet Latin jazz from a Havana-born, Toronto-based guitarist/singer/ composer. The band does well by the tight arrangements and carries it off with style, restraint, and class. Nothing earth-shattering, but all quite enjoyable. 1. Relaxed mid instrumental sway. Bright guitar, warm perc/piano. *2. Warm, sweet samba w/playful la-la-lyrics & a cute tune. 3. Nicely shaking conga jazz. Mid/up and subtly delicious. *4. Midtempo Cuban son jazz w/a lazy air. 5. A Latin romance classic w/passionate vocals & a lazy cha-cha jazz. *6. Mid/up blend w/some good vocals & a lush, rich romanticism. *7. Driving Afro-Cuban rumba jazz w/a stylish flair. 8. Slow, delicately powerful ballad w/a gentle touch from all. 9. Starts slow, picks up almost operatic, soaring vocals & emotion. | ||
