Typically varied Global Rhythm compilation. Music from all over the map – both literally and musically. Good stuff. From Global Rhythm magazine. This issue especially good. *1. Freaky, fast, furious funk/punk/jazz/folk blend. Play it loud! *2. Down/mid tango-influenced gypsy jazz w/great vox/bandoneon. *3. Squeaky up blend of spy theme, jazz, & Bulgarian folk, w/tabla *4. Toots does Police. Hip soul/reggae mix. Starts slow, picks up. *5. Wicked cool, midtempo North African blues. Great stuff. 6. Samba/jazz blend w/kinda cheesy English/Spanish lyrics. 7. Hypno trippy jazz electronica w/English lyrics. Dark & dreamy. *8. Romantic Gardel rework w/sexy fem vocals. Soooo smooth… | ||
