Rockin', slightly above average mix of stoner rock and “ye olde Heavy Metal for the current age.” Yes, it has David Pajo (Slint, and a zliion other indie bands) and someone from the rather good band, Lords.

The vocals are an odd mix of Overkill’s Bobby Blitz and Mark Osegeda of Death Angel. (At times not the best combo but passable). Along with those two I’m sure you can throw in many other references from Metal Church, ‘Maiden, High On Fire (though nowhere near as heavy) as well as Overkill and Death Angel again. On the downside the song titles are crap and the vocals sometimes detract from the songs. Although generally good.

(((1))) Jud-jud uptempo and pretty rockin’. Very straightforward heavy rock/metal.
((((2)))) Very 80’s metal sound high-register vocals (but not the nuts in a wrench kind). Severe Death Angel/Diamond Head fixation.
((((3)))) Wailing guitars, extreme 80’s sounding (but in a good way), swaggery and very anthemic but a little redundant in places.
(((4))) Fast, jagged and filled with soaring vocals. Not bad but really, uh…”Overkill-lite”?
(((5))) Decent riffing but pretty overdone song structures in the ‘Maiden –copycat style (see early Fates Warning, Wolf, Twisted Tower Dire, et. al).
(((6))) Galloppy riffs with slow “groove” to fast tempo, a lot of filler here.
((7)) Unnecessary interlude
((((8)))) Slow, doomy and very traditional Heavy Metal sound. Really good build up, riffs and vocals.
(((((9))))) Fast and tough sound, soaring vocals, straight up real 80’s metal with big riffs. Rad!
(((10))) Thudding, jud-judding repetitive as hell. Decent guitar work, though.
(((11))) Very basic riffing with stop/starts (that get a little close to nu-meddle at times), really good vocals though.
