Jarboe of Swans/World of Skin fame continues collaborating and being prolific: this time its more along the lines of past Swans/Skin compositions (as opposed to noise-fests with Byla). Ranging from doomy to atmospheric this is for fans of all things Neurosis, Dead Can Dance, Diamanda Galas and of course, her previous work with aforementioned bands. Great stuff,.

1) repeated simple vocal melody for first 1:45 then doomy sludginess enters and just intensifies till it all comes to a standstill at end
2) a slow plod with hard to decipher vocals, somber organ is joined with doomy guitars, smacks a lot of Skin/Swans
3) starts quiet with keys and builds upon itself with guitars entering, drums, vocals, dramatic
4) more of an upbeat (relatively speaking!) feeling, songlike with melodies and synths, then midway it falls apart into an echoey looping mangled wonderful mess
5) midpaced atmospheric “song”, very late Swans/World of Skin, acrobatic vocalizations (no lyrics)
6) bit of an electrofunkiness to the beat/rhythm, piano, vocalizations later in track
