No Age are an anthemic noisy/shoegazy group that also have indie-pop, drone, and punk sensibilities. This is their debut on Sub Pop, do they sound polished. Their sound is usually cheery and jangly guitars or punk guitars, with a wall of sound, occasionally going heavy, mixed with vocals. This sounds like punk guitars and drums with an indie pop vox rocking the frenetic shoegaze of Swervedriver with a well textured wall of sound. Some songs rock pretty hard, although the vocals and pop sensibilities prevent me from saying it has a true pair of balls. Oh yeah, it's catchy as hell. Play it all, the kids will eat this shit up.

**** 15 second Noisy wash, leading into stomping percussion, and entrance of triumphant punk distored guitars, washed out vox. Rocks hard. Commence shaking it.

**** Goofy, cheery catchy repetitive guitar line with light noisy wash to begin, pop friendly. Then the fuzzed out guitars return and audible vocals this time.

**** Weird synthy noise to start then big fuzzed out guitars, with anthemic vocals.

** Slower, more poppy and restrained number with acoustic guitars and mumbly vocals, and prominent pulsating texture.

***** Jangly guitars with happy dancy drum, 60s sunny vox alternating with an explosion HUGE fuzzed out wailing noisy riffs that throb and wail to serve as the refrain. Incredibly catchy.

***Ambient piece with guitar drone serving as wall of sound and a few other textures with lightly stroked guitar.

***** Big speedy jangly guitar intro leading into with swervedriver Shoegaze guitars with punk unrelenting pace. Anthemic vox as well, “With Passion It’s True”

**Throbbing guitar wash texture that carries through the piece leading into drums that give way to some lacksidasically sung vocals.

***Happy uptempo, with audible vocals, simple drumming, jangly guitars, more of an indie-pop/punk crossover. No big wall of sound here.

****Instrumental piece. Restrained guitars with a vast fuzzy texture, and fiddling guitars above it. Uptempo ambient?

***Quicker, punky guitar and vox piece that ends suddenly leading into beautiful wash to end the song.

*** Punky uptempo number with wall of sound.
