Long running grunge/hard rockin’ band from Seattle still tearing it up. As usual it’s done in the vein of their influences (Stooges, garage rawk, Blue Cheer) but it’s also absolutely, undoubtedly Mudhoney. Tons of catchy songs and lots of character. Lots of great guitar tone and plenty of attitude in the vocals. 20 years in and they still don’t suck. How many bands can you say that about?

((((1))))) Strummy, bassy garage rawk/Stooges vibe. Love to hear Mark Arm shout out “the past makes no sense/the future looks tense – I’M NOW!”.
((((2)))) (FCC “Fucked up” sung once) Swampy, hard blue rock tone. Amazing guitar sound and vocals.
((((((3))))) Simple & to the point, rockin’ ultra-fuzz punkified grunge.
((((4)))) Swaggery, thundering beats, fierce vox and real simple 1-2-3 beat.
((((((5)))))) Great, low-down nearly poppy & steady. Mark Arm’s vocals are sooo perfect on this.
((((6)))) (FCC “fuck” sung once) Loose but simple tempo but very focused vocals with some nice changes. Great near political yet sarcastic lyrics, too.
(((7))) Vocal centered blues-rock/garage rawk gets better as it goes along.
(((8))) Basic tempo with a 1-2-3 note pattern drags a little but generally good.
((((9)))) Sharp as hell guitars, nasty, shouted vocals and just wild rock n’ fuggin’ roll vibe.
(((10))) Slow burner with nice chords and bass.
((((11)))) 60’s garage filtered through the Stooges & yep that grunge stuff that many lesser bands tried and failed at.
