Here are the best of the French singles we received for April from the Francophonie Diffusion network. Music from France and French-speaking countries. Styles range from straight-up French pop to hip hop, jazz and Afro-folk. Since these are hand-picked I can recommend any track. 1. Oh-so-sexy male vocals in a deliciously dreamy mid/upbeat trip. 2. Fun, fresh, lively Afro pop w/great vocals & a lightly funk sound. 3. Wicked cool percussion hooks you, then wildly cool midtempo Afro funk. 4. Solid, high energy hip hop w/gritty vocals and a wicked groove. 5. Crazily retro love song w/delicious vocals, band. Too good to be true. Complete with movie soundtrack clips. A Dean Martin hit! In English. 6. Relaxed, slightly retro with warm vocals and a wacky hint of Gyspy jazz. 7. Fun, instantly catchy rock w/a slight 80s feel. 8. Shades of Django!
