World roving, genre hopping protest folk featuring Tod A. ex-CopShotCop. He decided to ditch America after G.W. got re-elected and mix of this infusion of gypsy folk, middle Eastern and Centrla Asian percussion. Lots of attitude and lots of insightful lyrics. Great stuff on nearly every track.

(((((1))))) Swaggery, Nick Cave-like, with the call & response chourses. “You gotta monkey for a president and a head fulla cement.”
(((((2)))))) Uppity, rollin’, really neat mix of Middle Eastern tones with Western-style protest folk. Nice use of something called “cannibal drums”.
(((((3))))) Melancholic, mid-paced almost ska crossed with western twang vibe. “There’s gotta be a better life for us instead drifting like dust through an hourglass”.
((((((4)))))) Slow & sad but with a lot of spirit and nice acoustic sounds.
(((((((5))))))) Another slow but searching for signs of hope. Great vocals, percussion and guitar twang.
So, heartfelt, too.
((((((6)))))) Fantastic percussion and very measured vocals, guitar playing takes it for the win. File under: should be a hit.
((((7)))) Off-kilter, I dunno “Turkish” beats? Near hip-hop style with a lot of random cut ups, horns & strings
(((((8))))) Snake-y rhythms, great vocal tempo & compositional structure.
((((((9)))))) Huge sound, bombastic stop/starts, funny song attacking GW Bush & co. without actually mentioning his name.
((((((10)))))) Playful, circus-like ‘ala Eric McFadden. Great near ska mixed with steady, strummy 20’s era jazzy folk & a big horn sound.
(((((11))))) (FCC “shitty” @ 1:25) Slow twangy ballardy, Central Asian/Middle Eastern tonalities. Nice.
((((12)))) More ska tempos but more of a circus/big horn thing going on. Would’ve been lost if it weren’t for the incredible vocals.
(((((13)))))) Strummy, direct & to the point folk with a more simple approach.
