Heavy, rockin’ fitting somewhere between something like the more raucous end of early 90’s (Jesus Lizard, Babes In Toyland, Daisy Chainsaw) and a more current sound (a bit of Neurosis). All of this blends melodic, moody yet catchy choruses with more than a few heavy riffs and loud bass sections. Julie Christmas’ vocals have a real flair for shifting from poppy to angry. In all, very well played on every level.
((((1)))) Weird intro then jagged tempos and soaring to melodic to shouted vocals. Lots of repeating choruses near the end.
((((2)))) Off-kilter and shouted vocals and big bass sound, not something you’ll get right away but still pretty good.
((((3)))) Great riffs mixed with very nice vocals – real melodic and has “should be a hit” written on it.
(((((4))))) Near spoken vocals with a really neat cadence and a big ‘ol riff to support it all.
((((((5))))) Amazing acoustic vs. bombastic parts and really cool story telling vocals. Gets much louder & rockin’ later on.
(((((6)))))) Another really good mix of jagged riffs, soaring and screamed vocals. Really rad bass & drum breakdown. Awesome all the way through.
((((((7)))))) Slow and lurky and even more crazed, obsessed and killer screamy vocals. All matched with introspective, melodic parts that work just as well. Oh yeah!
((((8)))) Paranoid feeling with all kinds of crazy shifts in tempo and whispered to screamed vocals.
(((((9))))) Heavy and doomy to rumbling and unsettling. Stunning throat shredding vocals. This lady’s ready to kill!
