Veteran American Death Metal band a pretty heavy sound and good production. Extremely guttural vocals, tons of low end & blasting. More varied than usual jumping around from the brutal death metal and the more traditional heavy metal solos. But yes, brutal like a zombified poodle. Plenty of lyrics about hating religion and hailing satan (albeit one mere mention to the horned one). In all pretty good even though their best work is about 17 years behind them.
((((1))))) Really tight, melodic & moody intro.
((((2)))) Solid drumming, ultra-low vocals shifts from blasting Death Metal to mid-tempo brain shaking & really good solos.
((((3))))) Nothing but pure hateful death metal totally guttural vocals but the riffs and blasting are pretty awesome.
(((((4))))) Fast as fuck, mind-drilling Death Metal then mid-paced hammering and more of Glenn Benton’s diaphramoical demons.
(((5))) Weird metered riffs that don’t fit well with the vocals then regular fast Death Metal that doesn’t go anywhere.
((((6))))) Ripping fast Death Metal that goes from doesn’t waste anytime minus the excessive guitar wanking (albeit GOOD guitar wanking) from both Ralph Santolla & Jack Owen.
(((7))) Slow and truding through mud then goes all apeshit blasting. Not bad but needs more character to it.
((((((8))))) Aggressive as hell blasting DM with squirrelly 80’s style guitar flourishes. Insane dual vocals (super low and demonic cackling high). Killer!
(((9))) Slow and screamed intro – the doomy parts are washed away at 1:51 when they go much faster. Drags on too long. Ragnar of Ravensfjord
