Total 70’s hard rock, AOR and prog worship from a bands that’s been stuck in the era since around 1999. Although, they are stuck in the mostly good part of the 70’s: Queen, The Sweet, (the couple of good parts of) Uriah Heep, late 70’s Sabbath, and a few random prog bands. B.E.’s singer sounds like Billy Squier and Roger Waters in his “kookiest” moments. In short: mostly fun, catchy and yes (again) big sounding arena rock not yet playing arenas.
((((1)))) “Apocalyptic” 70’s rock bombast. Very theatrical and lot of “conceptual” changes ‘ala “The Wall” or “Welcome to My Nightmare”.
((((2)))) Builds off the riff from the last song and makes it more pronounced but also more of a mix of hard rock and a bit of the Doors near the end. Cool.
((3)) Erm, a “tolerable” Lenny Kravitz with a let’s say some generic but ELO & Beatles-isms?
(((((4))))) Straight up, 70’s hard rock with histronic vocals. 2nd ½ is awesome mix of Metallica’s “Creeping Death” mixed with theremin!
(((5))) Pretty decent ballad with good guitar work. AM radio hit in an alternate universe circa: 1977.
((6)) Vocal-centered, simple riffs and very 70’s canned strings. * Meh*
(7) (FCC “Fuck” at the very beginning, “shit” in the song itself) Slinky & stinky, silly 70’s glammy rock. Just too simple and cornball.
((((8)))) Weird electronics, a lot of arena pomp and some Sabbath-y riffs, cowbell, dramatic vocals. Amusing.
(((((9))))) Black Sabbath, Billy Squire & 70’s prog had a 3 way. Their baby sounds like this. AKA: Totally over the top rock action dood!
((((10)))) Ballard vs. symphonic rock-out moments galore. Wild and fun stuff.
