Collection/Doom & Gloom: Early Songs of Angst and Disaster 1927-1945/Trikont/2007
A group of blues, country, folk songs and ballad relating tales of woe as the result of the age of technology. The sound quality on this is excellent! The years covered here saw disaster upon disaster strike the world in a way that had not been seen before and this compliation makes no bones about the similarities to our time. All tracks are great. Nice touch, the liner notes give the years that all of the artists passed adding another final note of angst to this already wrist slitting complication.
