Young folky singer songstress (with some country-influenced stylings) from Ohio. The album's centered around her acoustic guitar and slightly warbling vocals, but also has various other instruments (described below) on different tracks. Not amazing, but fairly pleasant. -Adrian My picks: 1, 4 1. med-slow. guitar, light drums, vocals + more JLM as backup vocals. 2. mid tempo love/ break-up song. bells, guitar, accordion. lots of reverb on vocals. 3. med-slow. dissonant electric guitar over acoustic guitar and light drums. a bit bluesy. 4. med-slow. sort of a country feel. a little banjo along with the light drums and guitar. Nice melody. 5. slow waltz time. a bit dark. lots of reverb on the vocals. floating lead guitar and background vocals 6. med-slow. 7. mid tempo. high guitar and melancholy vocals. 8. med-slow. guitar, doubled vocals, light drums. some tremelo keyboards. 9. mid tempo. crunchy, but fairly soft guitar. organ. 10. med-slow. piano, light rumbling drums, and guitar. keyboards later. 11. mid tempo. steady strummed guitar. some backup vocals and odd fluttering keyboards. 12. med-slow. just guitar and vocals. | ||
