Atlas goes acoustic with a band called “The Marzeeka Ensemble,” a first-class lineup w/a veritable orchestra full of instruments. They explore Middle Eastern folk roots with western influences. Her sexy, husky, expressive voice is beautifully showcased by the band. Great stuff. In a variety of languages, no FCCs.

*1. Slow and sweeping with sexy vocals and a lush feeling.
*2. Sexy, tango-esque mid/upbeat with a emotional sound.
3. Slow ney (flute) and accordion carry along this warm ballad.
4. Midtempo w/lush strings and a hint of a wiggle.
5. Slow, classic folk tune in English. Powerful & tragic.
*6. Midtempo w/backing male vocals and a sensual feeling.
*7. Sweet vocal harmonies, gentle melody, like a carousel. A bit dark.
*8. Midtempo world jazz w/some great solos and vocals. Way cool!
*9. Playful midtempo big band take on Arabic folk. Very hip.
10. Ney & accordion plus strings. Mid/down w/a sweeping air.
11. Slow strings, sad and dramatic w/wonderful use of strings/flute.
*12. Dark, cinematic then mid w/haunting vocals. Creepy.
