Interesting collaboration (and split) release pitting Canadian minimal ambient vs. British mega-doom metal. Both pieces are over 20 minutes long. Pretty impressive stuff altogether. Both artists actually collaborated on both tracks recording pieces backwards and forwards and sending them over the Internet.
((((1))))) Very sparse, bass and guitar repeating on & on. Occasional distant male vocals and eventually adds a few more notes around the -7:15 mark.
(((((2)))))) Monstrous doom, lunging into an abysmal orbit. Later goes into a droning space-y part which comes in around the - 15 minute mark and chills out a bit yet it keeps the generally dark feeling going.
