Bassist/singer/songwriter Jazz musician born in Cameroon. Lives in NYC by way of Germany and France, 5 solo albums, this is his first live concert CD, recorded in Budapest. Has recorded & toured with Manu Dibango, Salif Keita & Pat Metheny & musical director for Harry Belafonte's European tour.
***1: 13:25 mid fast mini Latin groove at 4:32 applause & transition to mid tempo, male vocal then back to mini Latin trumpet groove.
2: 8:02 keyboard noodling, male vocal, slow
3: 5:26 keyboard noodling intro @ 1 min picks up a bit, big bass, male vocal @ 3 min picks up a bit more, trumpet
****4: 6:17 scat vocal. with looping a cappella yields a choir, mid fast tempo
***5: 6:49 very nice fast African/Latin dance number, male vocal, instruments take the lead. gets the audience in the groove.
***6: 8:40 cool Miles trumpet, nice groove, male vocal in English, mid tempo, nice e guitar groove @ 6:40.
***7: 9:51 locked bass drum groove, mellow instrument noodling groove, male vocal, lots of applause during the tune. very nice groove, @ 8:50 applause and then a minute more music
