Great voice " sultry & sweet, despairing & lonely"( the village voice). Former member of The Be Good Tanyas. Marc Ribot e guitar on some tracks ***1: 3:56 very nice vocal, poppy female vocal, upbeat. 2: 4:23 mellow rock, slow throaty fem vocal ***3: 4:36 mellow rock, e guitar, 4: 3:13 slow to mid, vocal with guitar picking and some whistling **5: 5:11 slow to mid, vocal with twangy e guitar picking 6: 4:03 slow rock with vocal with slow twangy e guitar picking, bigger faster rock towards the end **7: 3:32 sultry vocal minimal instrumentation 8: 5:08 the voice, it's all about the voice, slow, minimal instrument noodling. 9: 3:48 the voice, it's all about the voice, slow, a bit more instrument noodling **10: 2:23 minimally produced "Enjoy yourself, It's later than you think" vocal & guitar with laughter.
