Grindcore/Death Metal from the UK. Has hints of crusty hardcore as well. This band’s been around since the early 90’s. Most known for being the “launching pad” for Napalm Death’s vocalist Barney. Not too suprising to hear current vocalist Dave Hunt (Anaal Nathrakh, Mistress) sounding like a cleaner version of ‘em. The drumming sounds a bit too “snappy” & the production’s really thin. Otherwise, above average more often than not.

((((3))))) Basic, stripped down thrashy DM ‘ala fast Bolt Thrower & Master.
((((4)))) Pretty same as #3 ‘cept a nice scream @ 2:48.
((((5)))) Mid-paced with a few bursts. Catchy & easy to follow.
(((6))) Standard but decent mid-paced to fast DM.
(((7))) Choppy sound, clunky chorus.
(((8))) A little flat but generally OK, grinding DM with a bit of crust.
(((9))) Thick & riffy, memorable but fails by making their melodic parts sound too obvious.
((((10)))) Hardcore riffing with metal drum pounding and guttural vocals. Mostly good.
((((11)))) Early 90’s Napalm Death worship.
(((12))) Standard but fairly thick 90’s DM riff & spotty drums.
((((13)))) Fuzz bass into straight up crusty DM/HC mix. Broken Bones cover, dunno the original.
((((14)))) (2:57-2:58 FCC “FUCKING”) Rather good cover of one of the best hardcore/crust tunes ever written.
