Brooklyn-based experimental psych-rock, with lots of dissonant weirdness going on, and some nice ear-candy mixed in. Some of the tracks sound a bit like early pink floyd / funkadelic, others have more of a tribal freak-folk sound, and a couple have a nice, late 60s psych-pop sound. Most of the tracks have vocals sans lyrics (just 60s style vocalizations)
FCC CLEAN
***1) Great poppy psych tune, nice bouncy rhythm, definite late 60s feel
2) Freak-folkish sound, with tribal rhythm, dissonant electric guitar, distorted vocals, and animal noises.
** 3) Throw-back bluesy, psych sound, reminds me of early pink floyd in places, Brokeback Morning Light, in others
** 4) Nice Psyched-out cover of that pinball number count song from sesame street 1,2,3,4,5…6,7,8,9,10…11,..12 Great fuzzed out bass
5) Lots of dissonant weirdness sounds like Grateful Dead “space”
6) Dark bluesy Psych rock, with repeating vocal chants, sounding a little like Funkadelic
7) Psych rock with almost heavy Tribal rhythm and chanting
8) 60s style psych -Acapella
9) Nice driving rhythm, 60s style vocalizations, sounds like it could be on the soundtrack of a groovy action flick
10) Stripped down acoustic guitar with vocals (and lyrics) and some synth
11) Spooky organs, with thunder, and horror-movie style narration
12) Pounding rhythm and weird, but cool chanting vocalizations, with hint of melody….very damaged psych-pop
* 13) Another poppy-psych tune (this one with lyrics), a little bit reminiscent of Olivia Tremor Control
14) Sparse low synth sounds, drums, and vocals with lyrics
15) Warbly vocals, and acoustic guitar, ends with windy noises
